JAKARTA INACRAFT2012

Inacraft2012 is the biggest and the most complete exhibition of gifts and housewares. This is the 14th Jakarta International Handicraft Trade Fair. Two days ago, my aunties, my mom and I managed to go there. This exhibition is held on April 27-29. This are some photos that I took..

 My eyes captured this uber cute tree display as soon as I entered the exhibition. 

Sorry for the unfocused and messy angle of the picture :( I took all this photographs secretly. Actually they didn't allow anyone to take some pictures inside the exhibition because of policy issues but I couldn't stand to hold my SLR and click it! LOL :P *naughty me* Even some booths caught me for taking pictures and directly evicted me hihihi.

Dream Catcher

Back on track guys! Sorry for the late outfit post.. I'm off for last week because of "something"

 Dream Catcher

"Native Americans believe that the night air is filled with dreams both good and bad. The dream catcher when hung over or near your bed swinging freely in the air, catches the dreams as they flow by. The good dreams know how to pass through the dream catcher, slipping through the outer holes and slide down the soft feathers so gently that many times the sleeper does not know that he/she is dreaming. The bad dreams not knowing the way get tangled in the dream catcher and perish with the first light of the new day."

How the Dream Catcher is made: 
Using a hoop of willow, and decorating it with findings, bits and pieces of everyday life, (feathers, arrow heads, beads, etc) the dream catcher is believed to have the power to catch all of a person's dreams, trapping the bad ones, and letting only the good dreams pass through the dream catcher.
